Sharon Boykiw is primarily a landscape painter, working in oils and watercolors. She is a native of western Pennsylvania, residing in Indiana, PA. She began to focus more seriously on studio arts after a career in nursing and raising a family. Her current works include themes of environments evoking childhood and family memories and the often fading structures and habitats encompassing them. She sees the work of creating as a privilege and art as a means to convey the cathedral we are surrounded by.
