Jolene Joyner

An Indiana County artist, Jolene Joyner has been painting since adolescence. The encouragement of her high school art teacher was a catalyst in her pursuing her love for the arts. Joyner credits her understanding of diverse art techniques to classes an workshops she’s taken, always intertwining new learning with her unique eye for beautiful still scenes. Her work with the Indiana Art Association served as a great resource for her continual learning and allowed Joyner to hone her skill through working with other local artists.

Through a lifetime of commitment and passion for creating art, Joyner has now exhibited her art in numerous two and three person exhibitions. Recently, she displayed her work at the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art Ligonier with her daughter and fellow showing artist a The Fox Clark Gallery Jonelle Summerfield.
